Annie Hartnett

I started apprenticing at Visions Hair Design when I was sixteen years old. When I turned eighteen, I took my boards to become a cosmetologist and have been licensed and working ever since. I have been trained and certified in all Aveda specialties.

  • I have attended the Aveda Institute in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, and King of Prussia.
  • I went to California to the board certified Hair Colorist Seminar.
  • I learned hands on from David Adams, who is a world renowned Aveda professional colorist.
  • I received an Aveda Customized Solutions Coloring class.
  • I had the privledge of learning from Martin Parson at IBS in New York, who is famous for his formal styling (updo’s).
  • I attended the Advanced Hair Color and Trends seminar provided by Aveda.
  • I have stayed up to date at Visions Hair Design with in-salon, hands-on coloring classes with our Aveda color educator.
  • I have attended every specialized class in Aveda skincare and am certified in all of the skincare areas Aveda provides. These include: facials, manicures, pedicures and waxing.

I love my job. There is nothing more fulfilling than having someone leave my chair with a smile on their face and feeling beautiful!

I am a seasoned Master Stylist with many years of experience. I started in the beauty industry in 1970, at Westover Beauty Salon in Greenvillle, DE. I have been at Visions Hair Designs for 18 years. I have taken classes in New York City, at the Aveda Institute, with Oscar Bond and Antoinette Beender both are internationally known hair cutting artists. I have had classes, working with Aveda Hair Coloring Systems, at the Aveda Academy. I have attended Aveda Congress in Minneapolis. At the New York International Hair Show, I experienced classes with Martin Parsons, internationally known for his professional and creative up-do's. I have also taken Aveda classes in Alexandria, Va. and Washington, D.C.. I hold a Masters Degree in Pastoral Counseling from Neumann University.
